Today marks Bill Gates retirement from full-time duties at Microsoft. I hope the timing of his departure and Pingar's recent invitation to join the Microsoft Start up Accelerator Program are not in any way related.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, his philanthropic enterprise, will now be the centrepiece of his time. He will be fundamentally shifting his focus from achieving his dream of "a PC in every home" to helping realize the vision of "healthy people in every country".
